- About: Hola, soy Azucena. I was born in Madrid, Spain. I have a Law degree and a Proficiency in English from Cambridge University. I've taught English in Spain privately and in schools and Spanish in London and now Los Angeles with Castilian Spanish or Latin American Spanish. I feel two things help my teachings: first I worked in a Dislexia Centre where I came to understand the different ways people learn, second I passed the Proficiency on my own. I came across my own difficulties in understanding English so I looked for the differences between the two languages to help me and now I reverse the process so my student can understand Spanish. I'm studying the American accent and i'm using the same process to help my students with their Spanish accent. I believe learning is about fun and the confidence. Those are what I try to provide!
