Hello! Bonjour!

My name is Adele. I’m an experienced French tutor and translator, bilingual in English. I’m so excited to join the incredible Strommen community and I have so much I want to share with you. A little bit about me: I was born and raised in the beautiful south of France, and at 17, I decided to travel and lived in London, Paris, New-York, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Los Angeles, which is now my home. I learned so much while traveling: new languages and cultures of course, but also a new sense of independence, freedom, which are my main inspiration as a teacher and an artist.

I’m a former actor and dancer, and have a master in art history from La Sorbonne, in Paris. In the US, I studied acting, translation, tutoring, dialect, prononciation, dubbing, voice over, classical singing and screenwriting.

I worked both as a performer and behind the camera, as a dialect coach, French tutor and translator here in Hollywood. If love working on set with clients like Charlize Theron, Carrie Washington or Peter Dinklage. But I give an equal attention to my students of all levels or ages, especially children, which are very talented learners! (my daughter learned English in a few months).

This rich professional and life experience makes me a great coach and facilitator and I know I can efficiently help you communicate, read and write French. My special bonus: I will share with you all my special travel tips, cultural events, places to go, food to eat in France because sharing my culture and my mother tongue are my passions.
