- About: Konichiwa! My name is Yori. I'm from Ichikawa City in Chiba prefecture. When traveling to Japan you are most likely to arrive at Narita International Airport which is located in the Chiba prefecture. My city is 30min away from Tokyo by train and is also known as 'Peartown' famous for its pears. After studying oil painting at Musashino Art University of Tokyo I decided to move to NYC to continue my studies at the Art Students League of New York. I have been teaching art and Japanese classes (one-on-one and group lessons) in Los Angeles since 2011. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
