Hello- My name is Kristy. I am a licensed teacher from the USA. I have been teaching English for over 18 years. I truly love my work and am inspired by students all of the time. Their great attitude and motivation to improve themselves and their knowledge through language make me excited to show up every day with a smile and materials designed exactly to meet this goal with them. I have extensive knowledge in teaching English as a non-native language for learners and bring my years of expertise and training to advance one's language skill with targeted practices, relevant lesson material and high quality learning strategies that will enable learners to excel as rapidly as possible. I have taught at the university level to prepare college students for the TOEFL and IELTs exams, I have taught children in elementary grades (I am a licensed K-6 educator in the US) and have a deep understanding of how kids learn and how to design lessons for their success. I have also taught Business and Career English to adults throughout my career. I simply have years of experience and expertise to coach and help propel all manner of learners in their English language journey. I also teach accent reduction and have very specific practices and activities to help anyone who is targeting their American English sound. I have worked as an accent coach with great success. I am VERY warm and SUPER friendly. I am a light-hearted and joyful person but take the trust that people have put in me to help them with their goals seriously.
