Payment information — when you purchase lessons or packages (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your credit card numbers)

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect or process your data:

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
Google Analytics 4 — website analytics, demographics, and advertising reporting. Google Analytics uses your IP address only to derive an approximate location and does not log it. Loaded only with your consent where consent is required. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Google Ads and Google Signals — conversion measurement, remarketing, and ad personalization. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google may use your IP address to identify your device for ad measurement and personalization. These features run only if you accept marketing cookies. You can opt out of ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
Google Tag Manager — tag management for analytics and marketing tools. Tags are released according to the choices you make in our cookie banner (Google Consent Mode).
Google Fonts — font delivery for displaying website content
Google Calendar — lesson scheduling and calendar integration
YouTube — embedded tutor introduction videos on tutor profile pages. YouTube may set cookies when you play a video. YouTube’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies, including tracking pixels and browser storage (such as localStorage). We group them into three categories:

Necessary — required to run the Sites: login sessions, security, spam protection, timezone and display preferences, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics — Google Analytics, used to understand how visitors use our Sites, including demographic and interest data.
Marketing — Google Ads measurement and personalization, used to measure our advertising and show you relevant ads on other sites.

Your choices. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or choose categories under Preferences. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics and marketing technologies stay off until you opt in. Elsewhere they are on by default and you may opt out at any time. Your choice is stored for 180 days in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage. You can change it at any time using the Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. When your browser sends it, marketing technologies are turned off automatically.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may affect the functionality of our Sites.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share your data in the following circumstances:

Service providers — with third-party services listed above that help us operate our business
Advertising partners — if you accept marketing cookies, Google receives limited data (such as cookie identifiers, IP address, and pages viewed) to measure and personalize ads. Some privacy laws treat this as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 4 and Section 9.
Tutors — with your assigned tutor(s) to facilitate lessons (name, contact information, and scheduling details)
Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Protection of rights — to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. We may also retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes and enforcing agreements.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — we do not sell personal information for money. Marketing cookies may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our cookie banner or the Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request.
Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

Right to restrict processing — you may request that we limit how we use your data

Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, including through the Privacy choices link on our Sites

Our Sites are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
