Hello! My name is Eriko. I hold a BA in English Literature and an MA in Linguistics, specializing in Japanese and English language education. Since 2003, I have been teaching Japanese in Los Angeles.
My teaching experiences are diverse and enriching. I have assisted in Japanese language classes at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), taught K-12 students at the Southeast Japanese Language School, and instructed at Osaka Sangyo University. Currently, I work as a Japanese language instructor at a private language school, where I teach both private and group classes for adults, as well as a Kids and Teen program. My passion for teaching extends to all ages, and I take pride in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
As a tutor at Strommen since 2015, I work with both adults and high school students, specializing in helping students excel in AP Japanese Language and Culture. If you're aiming for a score of '5' on the AP exam, feel free to reach out!
