My name is Mihaela, I am a writer and a passionate, career-oriented teacher, having PhD in Philology. My expertise is to teach Latin Language and Literature for all levels and purposes ( from beginners to high proficiency, from just improving the school grades to archeological research and reading the classic authors, from Ancient to Medieval latin). I also can teach Romanian language (as my native tongue). I am very excited to share this cultural treasure of humanity and you’re going to be enthusiastic too for studying such great values, and finding out abilities that I know you have. What is your favorite word in your language and why?
1. In Latin: HONOR, as Cicero stated in "De Officiis" ("On Duties"), because the honorable people, politicians or commoners, can truly make a better society and a better world for living in. 2. In Romanian: GENEROZITATE ( Generosity), because this is a characteristic that helped Romanian people to survive through its history.

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
Sarmale cu mămăliguță ( cabbage rolls with polenta).

Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?
I study Russian and Italian languages.

My other interests are writing screenplays and novels.

What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
My hometown is the place of my birth and my childhood. I love it for the precious memories about my family, friends, school, neighbors and for its specific history and location.
