Languages are my passion—let me make them yours too!

Hello! I’m Sona, a passionate language enthusiast who speaks six languages——and counting! I’m currently learning Estonian, so I totally understand the challenges (and joys!)

I have been teaching Armenian online for over 10 years, beginning with the Armenian Language Program (ALP) through SOAR. Teaching my native language has been an incredibly fulfilling journey, and I take great pride in guiding students as they discover this rich and beautiful language.

My own journey with foreign languages started with Italian, which became my first love (and I guess my destiny too!). I hold a Master’s degree in Italian Linguistics, and for the past five years of marriage to an Italian, I’ve had full linguistic immersion at home—no escape! 😄

For me, learning a foreign language is not just a skill but a rewarding journey. While it takes dedication and motivation, I truly believe that it can also be fun and exciting. That’s the experience I strive to bring to my students.
