Olá! My name is Nuno, I'm a 27 years old native portuguese and I'm currently based in Fafe, Portugal.
I speak Portuguese, Spanish and English fluently, have lived in the North, Center and South of Portugal and have a Bachelor's in Management and Administration Secretariat plus a Pedagogical Skills Certificate.
I started learning English when I was 5 years old without even realizing I was learning a foreign language by playing 'Pokemon' games.
Very soon I understood that the best method to learn something new is not to 'over-study' or 'over-practice' but to find something you like to do and the learning will come naturally.

What is your favorite word in your language and why?
"Saudade" , without a direct/accurate translation in English, 'saudade' it's probably 'the most portuguese word that exists'. Eternalized by our typical portuguese music, the Fado, Saudade represents the feelings of missing something or someone but it's actual impact can only be understood in Portuguese.

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
A regional dish from the North of Portugal, the 'Francesinha', is definitely one dish that you should try if you travel to Portugal. It's a sandwich with beef, ham, sawsage, egg, lots of cheese and with a special sauce which is different in every restaurant. It's tipically accompanied with Batatas Fritas !

Apart from Portuguese, I speak English and Spanish fluently.

Travelling, Video-Games and enjoying time with friends and family.

What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
Fafe is a small city in the north of Portugal which is calm, safe and a well-known city for the fans of World Rally Championship (WRC). Every year, for the past 30 years, the mountains of our small city are filled with millions of people to watch the iconic Fafe Stage. The famous jump, at the end of the track, is called "Salto da Pedra Sentada" (Sitted Stone Jump). Also, Fafe has a traditional story which has granted Fafe an unique saying: Com Fafe, ninguém Fanfe.
