WE KNEW WE COULD DO OUR PART TO HELP.
At Strømmen, we knew we could do our part to help. So we decided to make $4000 of free certified translations available to Afghan refugees, paying our network of professional translators out of pocket and mobilizing our staff to work at all hours to get the job done. When the $4000 we allocated ran out we started a Gofundme and raised an additional $7000 to continue our efforts. At this time, we have run out of funding to provide free translations. Please consider donating and we will allocate any and all funds to Afghan’s in need of translation services.
When refugees seek Asylum they must have their documents translated by a professional certified translator for immigration. The problem is, people are having a hard time finding official translators that will donate their time and these documents are needed urgently.

This certification is compliant with USCIS guidelines and meant for immigration applications to the US. We will also include a notarized certification when possible. We can help with more complex requirements if needed (see below). We typically translate government IDs, Birth Certificates and statements for USCIS (translated document and certification). We are not a law firm, however we are here to assist with this necessary step in the process.
