Hi! I am a trained and certified Mandarin teacher from World Chinese Language Association, Taiwan. I have been teaching Mandarin to private clients since 2001 as well as in group classes at the Department of Asian Languages & Cultures (ALC) while obtaining my Master of Fine Arts degree in animation at the UCLA School of Theater, Film & TV. As a bilingual filmmaker/animator, Mandarin teacher, and copywriter/translator/interpreter, I have worked on many international productions and film festivals, providing bilingual services throughout the years. My students range from young children to TV and film industry professionals, including Hal Sparks (actor/comedian) and David Brooks (producer/director). With experience in teaching languages, art, and animation, I am patient, fun, and creative in my teaching style. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals!
