This time we will focus on the amazing city of Cartagena, Colombia and attend the CARTAGENA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL*
The trip is 7 days and 6 nights March 1st-7th! This isn’t your typical tour. This is an immersive student adventure!
Experience Colombia as a native with the help of our teacher, Andrea and a private tour guide, Fernando Pulido (30+ years experience) who will be joining us on every single excursion! We will be whisking off to the Caribbean coast to experience Cartagena and the CARTAGENA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. Cartagena, a historic city located north of Colombia on the Caribbean coast. Famous for its colonial walled center, founded in 1533, sandy beaches, romantic sunsets and set to many international renowned movies. a city of colonial romance and legends. We will also have a day excursion to the magnificent Playa Blanca and 3 hour movie bike tour by a native “Cartagenero,” film-maker and bike aficionado ! There will be a group lesson every day at culturally immersive locations like cafes, beaches, and eclectic restaurants.
WHAT IS INCLUDED:

Internal transfers to the festival activities and projection rooms chosen by the group.
Movie Bike Tour– a visit to the different places where movies have been shot and history of the city in a cinematographic way. 3hrs or all day. Gerardo

Visit to Playa Blanca includes transfer to port taxes and travel by boat to the beach (8.30 AM to 5PM)

Day 1 – March 1st: Transport from Cartagena airport in Hotel, group meetup and lesson, check in at the hotel.
Day 2 – March 2nd: Breakfast and group lesson, opening ceremony of festival,
Day 3 – March 3rd: Breakfast and group lesson, movie screening, afternoon activity
Day 4 – March 4th: Breakfast and group lesson, movie screening, afternoon activity
Day 5 – March 5th: Breakfast and group lesson, bike tour, movie screening and afternoon activity
Day 6 – March 6th: Breakfast and group lesson, and playa blanca excursion
Day 7 – March 7th: Breakfast at hotel, closing ceremony, transfer to airport

About Andrea:
Bio:
I was born in the high plateau of the beautiful Andes Mountains in Bogotá, Colombia. I have a BA in Psychology and English from the University of Connecticut and I have also attended The Southern California School of Interpreting. I am an intuitive and dynamic instructor who feels it is important to cater to the idiosyncrasies of each individual and stylize the lessons according to each student’s’ learning style. I am also a performing artist so I enjoy a creative approach to teaching language such as through music, dance, literature and role-playing. I’m SO excited to be traveling to Colombia with you!
