  • What is your favorite word in your language and why?

    I like the word 'Determinación', because it represents what I feel when I head toward a goal. When I climb a mountain, play an instrument or simply do my work, I do it with 'determinación'.

  • What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?

    My favorite Colombian dish is called 'Chicharrón con arepa'. It is a kind of homemade pork rind with a thick corn tortilla.

  • Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?

    I sometimes study german as a hobbie.

  • What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?

    My other interest is to make friends around the world to invite them to know my country and eventually visit their countries and share fun experiences.

  • What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?

    I consider all Colombia as my hometown, I love its biodiversity, its scenic landscapes and the warmth of its people.
