Swedish, Beyond words!

Hej! My name is Eva-Lotta and I'm born and raised on an island called Öland in the south of Sweden. I moved with my family from Sweden to the United States in 2007. After trying out the east coast for five years, we decided to move to Los Angeles. Needless to say, we loved LA and the climate there. In 2020 we moved back to Sweden and nowadays I teach online from my home in Sweden.
I have a bachelor of art degree in cultural science and also a bachelor degree in teaching (elementary/middle school) with a major in Swedish and English. In the US I worked at the Swedish school, teaching children from 8-12 years old. I have also worked with teaching grownups, privately and at language schools, for several years. I find teaching my mother language so inspiring and motivating. As a teacher I think it is essential to personalize and adjust the teaching process according to the students particular needs and goal with learning Swedish. I also hope to inspire my students to take part in the wonderful Swedish culture and traditions as well as learning the language!
Jag hoppas att vi ses! (I hope to see you!)
