What is your favorite word in your language and why?
Mate! because it is our Argentinian typical drink and it really makes us feel great everytime we drink, it is also known as the friendship drink!

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
HELADO!!!! helado is a dessert made with cream and different fillings like chocolate, dulce de leche, milk, fruits! Actually helado o gellato, was born in Italy, but here in my country they are better than the Italian ones!

Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?
I love languages so I can speak English, C1 and I am always starting and dropping Portuguese classes! I love the brazilian accent, and we travel every year to Brazil so I have the chance to practise it in situ.

What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?
Well I love having a healthy lifestyle, so I go walking every single day, I love cooking healthy food and I am trying to become vegetarian since I love animals, I adopted two dogs from a shelter. I also love travelling, meeting people and getting inside places where only locals are! Do not like the crowds with one exception, Times Square!!!!

I feel a local everywhere, I feel at home everywhere where people are caring, affectionate, respectful and honest!
