  • What is your favorite word in your language and why?

    がまん。 Gaman. Patience. I like the word ‘gaman’ because it reminds me that sometimes you have to be patient and endure difficult things to get what you really want.

  • What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?

    もち! I love Mochi! Especially the ice cream 🍨 version one. Very delicious!

  • Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?

    Yes! My bestie and I learning 12 languages every day!

  • What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?

    Music and Food!

  • What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?

    Nashville is my layback city to enjoy the slow days and Tokyo is my busy city, never stop moving! But recently I miss my hometown in Tokyo because I missed the bus, train, food and places I used to go!
