My name is Gustavo, and I'm a qualified English teacher from Argentina with over 10 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's degree in TEFL and specialize in helping adults and professionals improve their English for work, travel, and everyday communication.

My lessons are student-centered, engaging, and tailored to your individual goals.   • What is your favorite word in your language and why?

    "Sobremesa." It describes the time spent talking and enjoying each other's company after a meal. I like it because it reflects the importance of connection and conversation.

  • What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?

    I'm from Mar del Plata, Argentina, and my favorite local dish is milanesa with mashed potatoes. It's a classic comfort food, and many traditional restaurants in the city serve excellent versions.

  • Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?

    Besides English and Spanish, I'm currently studying Portuguese and enjoy learning about other languages and cultures.

  • What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?

    I enjoy traveling, technology, reading about language learning, watching films and TV series, and spending time outdoors.

  • What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?

    I consider Mar del Plata my hometown because it's where I grew up. I love its beautiful coastline, relaxed atmosphere, and the balance between city life and nature.
