I’m Lizi, a certified Spanish instructor from Argentina with extensive experience teaching students of all ages and levels, especially in online settings. I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive learning environment where my students feel confident and comfortable using Spanish from the very first lesson.
I have training in modern language-teaching methodologies, and I design each class based on the student’s goals, interests, and learning style. I work with high-quality materials from Editorial Difusión, along with digital resources and custom activities I create to keep my lessons dynamic, clear, and effective.
I’m known for being patient, organized, and approachable. I enjoy helping students build strong foundations, develop confidence in speaking, and connect with the cultural richness of the Spanish-speaking world. Whether I’m guiding beginners or supporting advanced learners, my goal is always to help each student progress naturally and enjoyably.

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
Milanesas (thin beef covered with breadcrumbs).

Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?
I speak English (learned it when I was a child). I also had some experience learning German and Portuguese.

What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?
I enjoy listening to different types of music, watching mystery, science fiction, and action movies and series, cooking, spending time with my family, and doing outdoor activities.

What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
I consider Buenos Aires my hometown because I was born there and have lived there my entire life. Even though it can be a bit chaotic, it has everything: great places to shop, lots of entertainment options, and even green areas. I also love the unique mix of old European-style architecture with modern neighborhoods.
