Salve a tutti! My name is Marco, and I hail from the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. Growing up in Florence provided me with a rich artistic environment, where I had the pleasure of interacting with people from diverse cultures who came to visit our city.
I attended Liceo Classico High School, where I delved into the roots of the Italian language, exploring its connections to Greek and Latin. Additionally, my experience as an actor has honed my Italian diction and pronunciation skills, enabling me to effectively communicate and teach others the intricacies of speaking Italian fluently.
I furthered my education by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the prestigious University of Rome La Sapienza.

What is your favorite word in your language and why?
My favourite italian word is "Mozzafiato", it means breathtaking. I like the musicality and the clean image that the word manage to deliver in italian. Plus, I like everything which is Mozzafiato!

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
My favourite dish is the Pisci pasta with Bolognese sauce. The Pisci Pasta is a very traditional handmaded pasta from Montepulciano, a small medieval town close to Florence, and unfortunatley I haven't found nothing similar to that here in LA,.... you have to come to Italy to try it! But a good italian restaurant I can recommend is called "Dal Milanese", they make very good legit italian meals!

What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
I consider my home town Florence but i left my heart in Rome. I love Florence for its calm, inspiring lifestile, but i love Rome for its cultural background and the variety of stimoulus that the city can give to you
