My name is Sonia, I'm French, I have a diploma in teaching French as a foreign language and I'm fluent in English. I'm keen to encourage your progress and create a trusting learning environment that will enable you to develop your abilities.
I tailor my lessons to your level, needs and interests. My first lesson will be dedicated to identifying these one.
Communicating in a variety of situations, writing a CV, a letter, understanding a speech, reading an article... Here are some of the objectives I can help you reach under my watchful eye.
To do this, I set up activities that allow you to progress step by step, always starting from what you already know.
I adapt my own communication methods to your level. I use visual aids and videos to facilitate understanding. I liven up my lessons with games and role-playing.

What is your favorite word in your language and why?
"Partage" => Sharing. Because life is all about sharing, and learning a language makes that easier.
What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
My favorite dish in my hometown Metz is my favorite dish is more of a dessert: a mirabelle plum tart, a small, sweet local fruit that is only harvested from mid-August to late September.

What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?
Dancing and rollerblading!
What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
I consider Nantes, the town I live in, my hometown because I have all my friends here.
