Interactive Dutch tutor with a passion for language and culture

Hallo, mijn naam is Alexander Tol. For anyone interested in speaking Dutch, you'll find that learning the language will be both profoundly easy and completely illogical. The fact that you already speak English will be a great help. Both languages greatly influenced each other in the Renaissance because of the trade between Amsterdam and Manchester.
I was born and raised in The Netherlands. I moved to France in 2010 where I started tutoring Belgian children aged 4-13. I make my classes as interactive as possible. The quickest way to learning Dutch is by having the confidence to speak as much as possible. I trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and received a Bachelor degree in acting. For the past 6 months I travelled through London as a motivational speaker, informing underprivileged school leavers about their options when they leave high school. What I can offer you, is an ability to speak a clear contemporary Dutch. We'd mainly focus on Grammar and Pronunciation, as English and Dutch share a lot of their vocabulary.
