I am a fun and patient English teacher with a background in Business Education and i am a Certified TEFL Teacher. I enjoy helping students of all ages improve their English in a friendly, supportive, and engaging environment.
My lessons are designed to build confidence in speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday communication. I adapt my teaching style to each student's needs and learning pace.

What is your favorite word in your language and why?
My favorite word in Edo is Eghogho, which means Happiness. I love this word because happiness is important in life. It reminds me to appreciate the little things, stay positive, and bring happiness to the people around me.

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
My favorite dish from my hometown is Pounded Yam with Vegetable soup. I love it because it is delicious, filling, and reminds me of home and family. Even though I no longer live in my hometown, there are local restaurants where I can still enjoy it.

Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?
Besides English, I speak Edo, which is my native language. I am also interested in studying other languages because I enjoy learning about different cultures and ways of communicating.

What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, watching movies, and learning new things. I also enjoy exercising and looking into topics that help me grow personally and professionally. I like activities that help me relax and stay positive.

What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
My hometown is Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. I consider it my hometown because I grew up there and have many wonderful memories of my childhood there. I love it because of the friendly people, the rich culture, and the sense of community. It will always feel like home to me.
