My name is Ichraq Maissene, and I am an Algerian language teacher, translator and conference interpreter. I hold a Master’s degree in Translation and Conference Interpreting (Arabic–French–English) from the University of Algiers 2.

I have around two years of experience teaching Algerian Arabic (Darija), including to French-speaking learners, as well as experience teaching English to children and adults online.

My specialty is helping foreign learners speak and understand Algerian Darija naturally in everyday situations. Rather than focusing only on textbook Arabic, I teach the expressions, pronunciation, vocabulary and ways of speaking that Algerians actually use in daily conversations.

Whether you are learning Darija for your Algerian partner or family, preparing for a trip to Algeria, living in Algeria, or simply interested in Algerian culture, I can adapt the lessons to your goals and level.

I can also explain difficult points in English or French when needed. My background in interpreting helps me focus strongly on pronunciation, natural expression, listening and real communication.
