Bonjour! My name is Sheida, and I bring a rich blend of cultural and artistic experience to my teaching. I am Persian, and fluent in Farsi (native), French, and English. My passion for language and storytelling led me to study French language at the Sorbonne University in Paris/France before immersing myself in the world of film and theater—my true calling. This passion took me to Los Angeles, where I pursued acting and the movie industry.
Beyond acting, I am a writer, podcast host, and translator. I have translated two English books into Farsi and authored an image analysis in both French and English. As the host of Bold Beginnings with Sheida, I explore inspiring stories of transformation, creativity, and resilience. My love for the arts extends to music—I play classical guitar, sing, and constantly seek new ways to express myself.
I believe that learning a new language is one of the most exciting and enriching experiences, as it opens doors to new cultures, connections, and perspectives. Teaching is not just about sharing knowledge—it’s about exchanging ideas and growing together. I look forward to guiding you on this journey and learning from you as well!

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
This is a tough question for me because I’m absolutely obsessed with Persian food. However, if I had to pick just one dish, the first that comes to mind is Fesenjan stew.

What is your favorite word in your language and why?
One of my favorite words in Farsi is *Mehr* (محبت / مهر) because of its depth in expressing kindness and warmth.
