Prefer private Italian lessons?
Can't make a weekly group time, or want the whole hour to yourself? Book a private tutor online. You pick lesson times from their calendar, and we personally meet every tutor before they teach for us.
You meet your group live on video once a week, with the same teacher every time. Groups are 10 people at most, so you will speak in every class, not just listen. Each card tells you the level, the weekly time, how many weeks the course runs and the full price.
I'm going to Italy soon. Will a group class help?
Yes, if the timing works. Some of our courses are short and built around a trip: greetings, ordering food, asking for directions, getting by without your phone. If no group starts soon enough, a few private lessons planned around your itinerary are the quicker route. Browse our online Italian tutors and pick one whose calendar fits before you leave.
Do I need any Italian to join a beginner group?
No. Beginner groups start with pronunciation and the basics. If you already know some Italian and aren't sure where you fit, take our free 5-minute Italian level test, then pick the group closest to your result. Class descriptions often say what you should already know.
What time are the classes where I live?
Teachers set their schedules in Los Angeles time, and this page converts every class to yours, so the day and hour on each card are your own. Daylight saving time doesn't change on the same date everywhere. If that moves a class by an hour partway through the course, the card shows the date it changes.
How much do the classes cost?
The price on each card covers the whole course, and you pay it when you sign up. Signing up early, usually about two weeks before the first class, gets you the early-bird price, which the card shows when it applies.
Do you have Italian classes for kids?
The groups here are for adults unless a card says Kids or Teens. For your own children, get a few of them together and we'll set up a private group with one of our Italian tutors, at a time that works for your family. Tell us about your group and we'll sort out the rest.
