Total Class Length: 12 hours
Intermediate Spanish 5: (CEFR level B2) This is a continuation of Danny's Intermediate 4 class. You can join if you are comfortable with the following concepts: present, preterit, imperfect, future and conditional tenses, por vs para, ser vs estar, direct and indirect objects, reflexive verbs commands, the present subjunctive, all other subjunctive tenses, the passive voice and be familiar with some idiomatic expression involving prepositions. This is a fun and challenging class. The class is about 80-90% in Spanish.

¡¡¡Hola!!! Os doy la más cordial bienvenida a nuestro curso de Español Médico parte 1 Welcome to our online Medical Spanish class! This group class is designed for healthcare professionals who want to improve their ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients. Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Spanish: It is advisable to have a basic understanding of Spanish, including essential vocabulary and grammar. Although it is not necessary to be fluent, students should be comfortable with using the language at a basic level. What you will learn in 10 weeks: - Specific medical vocabulary: learn key terms and phrases related to medicine, including symptoms, diagnoses, treatments and procedures. - Develop your ability to consult, obtain medical histories, and give clear instructions - Gain knowledge about cultural differences and how they can influence communication with Spanish-speaking patients - Participate in simulations of clinical situations to practice and hone your skills.

Total Class Length: 12 hours
(CEFR level A2+) This is a continuation of Danny's Beginner 4 class. You can join if you are comfortable with the following concepts: present, preterit, imperfect, future, and the conditional tense, por vs para, ser vs estar, direct and indirect objects, and reflexive verbs. This is a fun and challenging class with a lot of conversational practice. The class is about 60-70% in Spanish. In this class, we will learn the present and past perfect tenses, and the use of commands and we will start to dive into the world of the subjunctive slowly. But beyond different grammar concepts, the focus is gaining confidence and competence in correctly using all the basics we have previously learned. This class is sort of a bridge between the world of beginners and intermediates.

Spanish Intermediate IV (CEFR B1)
Thursdays 9:30 am—11:00 am • Begins: October 17
Total Class Length: 12 hours
-Intermediate Spanish 4: (CEFR level B1) This is a continuation of Danny's Intermediate 3 class. You can join if you are comfortable with the following concepts: present, preterit, imperfect, future and conditional tenses, Por vs para, Ser vs Estar, Direct and Indirect objects, Reflexive verbs, Commands, the Present Subjunctive and at least be familiar with, the passive voice and all the other subjunctive tenses. This is a fun and challenging class. The main goal of this class is to perfect and improve all the concepts we already know. This is the last intermediate class before we do our bridge class to get ready to enter the advanced levels. The class is about 80-90% in Spanish.

BEGINNER SPANISH 3 (Online)

Spanish Beginner I (CEFR A2)
Fridays 10:00 am—11:30 am • Begins: October 18
Total Class Length: 12 hours
(CEFR level A1+): This is a continuation of Danny's Beginner 2 class. You are not one of those people who starts something and quits right away right? :) Give some continuity and a boost to your beginning journey in Spanish with this class! Perfect for people who took Spanish in high school or college years ago and finally want to get back into it or for people who are surrounded with Spanish because of a close relative, a coworker, or a loved one and can even understand a lot of it but have never quite taken the time and effort to get comfortable speaking it themselves. You can join if you are comfortable with the following concepts: Present tense, Past tense( at least the preterit and knowing about the existence of the imperfect) Por vs Para, Ser vs Estar, The verb Tener, the verb Hay, and reflexive verbs. This is fun and challenging with quite a bit of conversational practice. About 40-50 % of the class will be conducted in Spanish.

  • Group class lengths can vary please read class details!
  • Tuition payments are non-refundable and cannot be postponed to a future term. Let us know before the 2nd class if you don’t think its a good fit! If you want something more flexible try a private class!
  • Check the class details for text requirements set by the tutor.
  • If the minimum student requirement is not met, you will be offered shorter classes and/or private classes at a discount.
