My favorite word in my language is “liberté.” I like it because it represents independence, self-expression, and the ability to choose your own path in life. It is a powerful word with deep historical and personal meaning.

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
My favorite dish from my hometown is couscous. It reminds me of family gatherings and traditions. I don’t live there anymore, but there are some great local restaurants where I live now that serve very authentic couscous, so I can still enjoy it from time to time.

Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?
Yes, besides the languages I teach, I also study English and a bit of Spanish. I enjoy learning new languages because it allows me to discover different cultures and communicate with more people.

What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I also like listening to music and watching films, especially in different languages, as it helps me stay connected to language learning in a fun way. In my free time, I sometimes go for walks or spend time with friends and family.

What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
I consider my hometown to be the place where I grew up and spent most of my childhood. I love it because it is full of memories, close relationships, and a strong sense of community. The food, traditions, and atmosphere make it very special to me, and it will always feel like home no matter where I live.
