Tutor Bio
I transform the experience of learning Italian into a sophisticated "Literary Café"—a vibrant space where language mastery meets Business, Art, Geopolitics, and Personal Growth. With over 1,000 online lessons delivered and more than 100 students mentored, I offer a proven track record of success, blending professional authority with a deeply empathetic teaching style.
My background is rooted in academic and professional excellence: I am a licensed Labor Consultant with degrees in Economics and Law, a Master’s in Global Innovation, and I am currently completing my third degree in Sociology. As a lifelong learner currently mastering Arabic, I intimately understand the cognitive and cultural nuances of acquiring a new language. This multidisciplinary expertise allows me to provide an elite lexicon for professionals in Finance and Real Estate, while remaining a welcoming and effective guide for beginners and children.
Beyond academics, I am a Reiki Master and a Sommelier-trained wine enthusiast. I believe in a holistic approach to education, blending an analytical mindset with mindfulness and a passion for cultural heritage. Whether we are discussing HR trends or Italian mythology, every session is a bespoke experience designed to elevate your communication and your world. I look forward to helping you master the beauty of the Italian language.

What is your favorite word in your language and why?
My favorite word in Italian is 'sovente'. I love it because it has a beautiful, melodic sound, and it means 'often' or 'frequently'. To me, 'sovente' captures the essence of everyday life in Italy – the rhythm of traditions, food, and moments shared with loved ones. It's a reminder to appreciate the little things that happen often, like enjoying a coffee at a local café or taking a stroll in the piazza

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
I'm absolutely passionate about 'polpette calabresi con patate' – it's a classic from my hometown in Calabria. The combination of tender meatballs and flavorful potatoes is unbeatable. What I love about this dish is its versatility: you can make it with meat for a hearty, comforting meal, or with eggplant for a vegan or vegetarian twist. Either way, it's a staple at family gatherings and celebrations, bringing people together with its rich taste. Whenever I make it, it takes me straight back to Sunday lunches with my family
-
Besides the languages you teach, do you speak or study any other languages?
Besides Italian, I study English at a local language school in my town, and I also practice with a group of international learners. Additionally, I'm currently learning Arabic – it's a challenge, but I'm really enjoying it!

What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?
I enjoy pursuing various creative interests and spending time outdoors. I practice yoga and meditation, and I also like to stay active through tennis and gym workouts. Additionally, I'm passionate about wine and appreciate the pleasure of sharing a good bottle (and food) with friends and family. These activities help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and inspire my approach to teaching

What do you consider your hometown? Why do you love it?
I live in a lovely town with a thriving commercial area and a growing university scene, which offers plenty of activities and opportunities. It's also become a hotspot for local investors in real estate, which is great to see the community grow. The best part is its location – I'm just 15 minutes from the mountains and 15 minutes from the sea, so nature is always close by. It's a really tranquil place with lots of green spaces, parks, and friendly people. Plus, it's super safe, which makes it a real joy to live here. I've had the chance to travel to many places, and while I love exploring new destinations, this town feels like home – I can't imagine living anywhere else, really
