Hi! I'm Linna. I am a native Chinese and hold a Master's degree in Chinese language and literature with extensive university teaching experience. My passion is creating a friendly and relaxed learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable and engaged. I’m patient and approachable, and I believe effective learning happens when students are challenged and supported. With my background in higher education, I’m dedicated to helping each student succeed in a way that works best for them
As a tutor, my approach to teaching Chinese (Mandarin) focuses on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. I would begin by assessing the needs and goals of my student, whether they are looking to improve their Chinese language skills for personal or professional reasons.
From there, I would create a customized curriculum that includes a variety of teaching methods and materials, such as textbooks, online resources, and multimedia content. My teaching approach would also involve a lot of practice and feedback to help my students build confidence and proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
In addition to traditional language instruction, I incorporate cultural and historical aspects of China into my lessons, giving my students a deeper understanding and appreciation of the language and the culture it represents.
Overall, my teaching approach would be tailored to the unique needs and learning styles of each student, to help them achieve fluency and proficiency in Chinese.

青春 （qing chun, youth) The word youth is not only a description of a time period ,but also carries rich cultural significance ,social value and personal growth.It is a multi-level and multi-dimensional concept, covering many aspects such as physiology.psychology, culture, society and personal.

What is your favorite dish from your hometown? If you no longer live there is there a good local restaurant that serves it?
Fried oysters is my favorite dish from my hometown. Unfortunately , in the place I live now there isn’t a good local restaurant serve it .

Not really,but I can speak Taiwan dialect.

Reading, writing ,cooking, doing yoga and working on the garden
